Yield: 1/2 cup (125 mL)

For Mustard Sauce:
2 tablespoons (30 mL) Dijon or grainy mustard or
1 or 2 teaspoons (5 - 10 mL) dry mustard
1/2 cup (125 mL) white vinegar
1 bay leaf (optional)
To Make Mustard Sauce:
1. Take a small bowl and mix 2 tablespoons (30 mL) of Dijon mustard or 1 or 2 teaspoons (5 or 10 mL) dry mustard with 1/2 cup (125 mL) white vinegar.
2. Mix well and serve. Bay leaf is optional.
1. In the past I often made two mustard sauces: one plain and one with a bit of grainy mustard added. Luckily today you have an array of mustards available.
